#hackbythesea Bring your creativity, curiosity and passion to Ventura County’s first hackathon. A hackathon is a coding event in which teams “hack” together to create an awesome project like a game, website, or app. Team up with some of the brightest minds in Ventura County to turn that energy and free food into awesome award-winning projects. The 21-hour Hackathon begins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday Dec 1st and ends Saturday, December 2nd at 4:30 p.m. Open to all Ventura County High School students in grades 9-12. Dinner, breakfast, Lunch and snacks provided. Door prizes, awards and plenty of SWAG Space is Limited to first 200 students. Please bring a laptop if you have one - if not, one may be provided to you. ***IMPORTANT INFORMATION*** 1. Students attend hackathons to learn more about programming or to get their first exposure to programming. Hackathons can be incredibly inspiring for students and mentors alike.
